The NON-RESTRCTIVE approach that actually HELPS your children build a CONFIDENT relationship with food and eat well without forcing it.

In-person Workshop for Parents who are done bribing their kids to eat well.

  • Is your child obsessed with sugar

  • Do you fight with them about every healthy meal
  • Are dinners a nightmare
  • All they want to eat are beige foods
  • What if you let them eat sugar? How much is too much?
  • What if you cannot agree on how to feed your LO with the rest of the family

      I HAVE THOSE ANSWERS!!!

I found the intuitive eating workshop very insightful. Vera presented a way of approaching childhood eating in a very different way to the norm, which might hold the key to helping my children develop a healthy relationship with food. I've been practicing one thing in particular she taught which I feel has lifted the pressure I was putting on myself. Highly recommend the workshop'

Cute Girl Eating Apple
We were told to put our 3yo daughter on a diet and watch what she eats because she was in a larger body. We knew there must be a better way how to help her live a healthy life than counting calories. Vera helped us to understand how to build healthy eating habits and help her to live a healthy life. It was a great journey of self-trust and self-discovery for me as a past dieter. We have learned about a new, way better way how to eat and how to feel at peace around any food. My daughter now eats everything and thrives in her life.

What to Expect?

Raising an Intuitive Eater is a 2h Interactive Workshop, not a seminar or lecture.

In this hands-on workshop, we will rehearse real-life situations to help you feel the nuances of neutral and diet-infused language we use day-to-day around food and bodies. So you can help your Little (or not so little) ones nurture their innate intuitive eater.

You'll be able to understand how our language and hidden diet terms impact the brain of our Little (or not so little) ones and ourselves when it comes to making food choices and how we feel in our bodies.

Fatphobia and Weight stigma are all around us, so it's important we talk about body positivity and how to respond to questions about the bodies of our children and other people. Questions such as: Am I Fat? Do I need to lose weight? And most importantly how to recognise if there is a deeper problem and how to take the first steps to recovery.

At the end of our Workshop, we wil save time for any additional questions that may arise.

Most Importantly - this is not a lecture to tell you you are doing it wrong or right. It's an opportunity to see if there is something you can do differently or a new approach to a problem you may be dealing with.

GUIDING LITTLE EATERS

Guiding your little eaters with love to help them trust their own bodies helps them become confident eaters.

Confident in knowing their own body, and its feelings and in making choices based on what they truly need, what's possible and what makes them feel better.

THE GIFT OF FREEDOM

We are born intuitive eaters.

Letting your children decide how much they want to eat, what feels good for them and giving them the permission to eat what they desire is the greatest gift of all.

With freedom comes trust and with trust we build health.

GROWING HEALTHY HABITS

As a caregiver, you have the great power to help them grow a healthy and positive relationship with their body.

Our children don't understand rules and guidelines, they learn by experiencing sensations in their body and making connections to the event that lead to them.

Help them to understand and connect the dots.

HI, I AM VERA!

Eating behaviour specialist,  Registered Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating counsellor, wife and mum.

Also, recovered chronic dieter for years stuck in a diet-binge cycle only wanting to be healthy and lose that 5 kg.

I know how easy is to keep thinking the next one will be different, and how rewarding is to see the scale going down. But when the guilt, shame and fear strike as soon as it stops working, the problem arises. Healing my relationship with food and my body has changed my entire life. It gave me confidence, happiness and a true fully lived life.

Now I have the privilege to change the lives of people who feel trapped in a difficult relationship with food and finding it hard to love themselves
