Omg. These are the best ever Peanut butter chocolate bites.
PB chocolate is my the most favourite combination, my soul treat.
So I created these to have handy on me when I am out and about or when just want something nice and sweet to brighten up my day.
✨1 cup crunchy peanut butter (I used @fixandfogg because they make real stuff no artificial sweeteners, no added oils, just pure goodness)
♥️ Heat these two in a pan until combined
✨ Stir in 1-1 1/3 cup of rolled oats
♥️Might need to use your hands to mix it properly
🍓Lay a 15x15 cm tray with baking paper.
☀️Press oat mixture on the bottom, very firmly, set aside
✨1/3 cup coconut oil or cocoa butter
✨1/3 cup honey or Maple syrup
✨1/2 cup cacao powder
♥️ In a sauce pan heat the coconut oil and honey, stir in cacao powder
☀️Pour over oat mixture
🍓Place in freezer for about 60min
☀️Cut in pieces, enjoy
Keep in a fridge (about a week) or freezer (longer)
Peanut butter fact.👇
There are no two PB the same and then there is better PB and the one I call fake PB.
When buying you nut butter look at the ingredient list.
Often when PB is advertised as low calorie or low sugar they add sweeteners as aspartame or artificial Stevia into butter.
Some butters have added canola or palm oil to aid with the smoothness...
They are unwanted empty calories with high inflammatory effect to your body.🤔
My top pick in NZ is @fixandfogg because they make real stuff that tastes soo good and they deliver home 🤩
